One of my lockers was full of body parts and blood. Like, WHAT? Idk if its been there since the start and ive never noticed it or what. These new events are freakin wild.

As much as I hate to see nuclear proliferation, Russia hasnt really given Ukraine much choice in the matter, seeing that Russia is willing to invade any non-nuclear states around it.

I like Rosewood. Its small, with a low number of zombies and has a fire station and a police station. Its really easy to get set up here, but it kind of also encourages you to move to a different city because its so small so resources get used up pretty quickly.

The MegaTen games have some weird ones, yeah. Like Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers, then the sequel to that came out and it was just Soul Hackers 2. Same with how Persona 1 was Megami Ibunroku Persona and then became Shin Megami Tensei: Persona. Oh and how theres two Persona 2s, Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment. Great games but man, really should have been like Persona 2 Part 1 and Part 2.

Berserk 1997. Berserk is my favorite thing of all time, but it is deff not for the faint hearted.
Highly recommend the manga too. Its a bit different, but same atmosphere and general story. It has more context as 1997 was only designed for one season, so it cut out a lot of things that would have become important later on.

That reminds me of when my husband took Speed Demon and swerved around me in a car and nailed the only pole in a 20 meter radius. Messed up his car, but he survived lol.

Lol, gets the zombie infection over with.
Im curious to see how you all tailor the game to suit you. I like having an action packed campaign with a lot more arcady-ness than what was probably intended. I play with Insane Zombie pop, normal zombie speed, strength, hearing etc, but no transmission, migration and respawn. I usually set electricity and water to off, one month after the apocalypse with x3 skill gain. I like making a story where like the Knox Event was contained, and now soldiers are entering the zone to clean up. You were part of the clean up crew, but your helo goes down and you have to start clearing the zone on your own. How do you all play? Edit: OH i also play with Helicopter event sometimes and use the enhanced helicopter event mod (one of the few mods I use.) Sure it calls all the zombies, but that FEMA aid is worth it. Plus it makes me feel less lonely knowing someone is out there, even if they are an asshole.

Kinda reminds me of the Elite Knight Set. Looks awesome!
Title says it all. I've used the most up to date GE for it, and it kind of works, but I get some odd visual bugs. Additionally, any other Proton release ive used disables audio in cutscenes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im using Kubuntu, which is Ubuntu but with KDE desktop environment.

Just today, I was using windows on my laptop, playing a game made for windows, Black Ops. And it crashes every time I boot up the Call of the Dead. On linux, while it does stutter on that map depending on where i am, I can still play it surprisingly. Its very strange.

When you see numbers like this, it can be very numbing. 600000 casualties. How many more Russians are going to die before standing up against their tyrant? Its sickening. Ukraine winning this war will not only save Ukrainian lives, but Russian lives too.

Wow. Russia spent hundreds of millions of dollars worth of cruise missiles and drones to kill 7 people and not even blow up a dam. What an acheivement.
Fuck these Putin clowns.

Squad has such fun gameplay and feels so good to play, it sucks that its only multiplayer. Squad on like an Altus sized map with map editor and a zues would be so freakin awesome.

Hello! I'm a small time vtuber who moved to MX Linux a while back. I use a 3d model, and while I was able to get my model working, with the help of my husband (even better than windows actually,) we cannot get my hand tracking to work. I've used the ultra leap on Windows with no issues. On the same PC, I tried to get it working on Linux. I use MX Linux (xfce), and the system is up to date. I know that the "Gemini" software only officially supports Ubuntu 22.04, but Ubuntu is Debian based and so is MX. So, I gave it a try. The program installed fine, and it seems to work normally. The device seems to be connected, and I can view its output through the web cam viewer. However, the ultra leap Gemini program can't find the device. I'm far from a Linux expert, but I tried all the program's terminal commands that I could. I think what I need is to point the program to the device ID or something, maybe. Does anybody have any experience with something like this? We also tried the older version of the program and that didn't work either. But I remember less about that. It was all terminal based I think. I use OpenSeeFace and VSeeFace as my tracking software. Any tips or trick I could try? If all else fails, I could migrate to Ubuntu, but I really enjoy my MX setup. P.S. If this isnt the place to ask these sorts of questions, could someone direct me to where I might be able to get help? I wanna thank everyone who helped and offered advice! My husband came up with a solution to use Xubuntu, as its very similar visually to my current OS, and most, if not all console commands I use will work properly. We attempted getting it to work in MX Linux, using the rather limited documentation available, but in the end, I am no Linux expert and changing to a new OS is not a big deal. Anyway, again, thank you everyone.

I like to have one of each on my team, but if I absolutely have to pick between the two, Id go engineer, at least until the Recoiless rifle upgrade. I like engineers because I know exactly where the grenade will go, and, if sapper is picked, what terrain will most likely be damaged. Rocketeers are fun however for those "fuck it" moments, when you need to deal a lot of damage to a large number of nearby enemies. The wide explosion radius also helps a lot with the native tile spread they have. Which to you prefer?
Look, its ok in normal xcom when 5 thin men drop in on overwatch flanking everyone, but LONG WAR THIN MEN CAN GO STUFF IT! I know, i know, thats the reason i have scouts. But still, council missions are the only missions ive actively restarted. Why do they feel so incredibly difficult compared to the normal missions which are tough, and ive lost soldiers on, but never soul crushing like these?
Alright, Im playing Long War. Im no expert at long war, but i do have a pretty good idea when im falling behind. Its early June of first year, and I just got laser weapons. How far behind am I? Also I recently lost 3 soldiers, an assault Specialist and 2 Corporals on a landed medium UFO, but eeked out a victory with my other soldiers. Big loss, but not irrecoverable, right?
Hi, i am having a problem with my internet speeds. I should be getting 100mbps, but am only getting 50ish. I have a dual boot machine, Windows 10 on my ssd and MX Linux on my m.2 In Windows 10, my internet speed is a lot faster, but going to Linux, it just drops off. I use the same device, TP-Link Archer T3U Plus. Can anyone help me?
The sites of grace are humanities from Dark Souls 1. Pretty sure its just a smart reuse of assets, but its fun to theorize. I like thinking that Grace and Humanity are similar, if not the same. Losing both leads to similar outcomes.
Im using MX linux, my husband helped set it up. That is all :3
My husband recently upgraded to an AM4 platform. His issue is that there is no display. The gpu fans look like they are trying to start, but cannot. Additionally, there is no POST sound and the power button, while able to turn on the pc, will not turn it off. The lights on the motherboard work, as do the cpu fans and case fans. I told him i think its a short, but he says the case has preinstalled standoffs. My other suspicion is a bad PCI-E port. It is a used motherboard. Specs: Processor: Ryzen 1700 Motherboard: B350M Gaming Pro MSI RAM: DDR4 XPG Adata GPU: GTX 1060 6gb Also tried: Radeon R7 250 Thanks in advanced! Edit: Oh wow so many posts! I'll try various solutions and keep you all updated on what work.
I have been playing a lot of the DOS version of Simcity 2000 recently. I grew up with it on my windows 98 pc, so revisiting it was nice. There were a few thing I picked up on that I never realized when I was young. 1: The game, especially the soundtrack, reminds me of Blade Runner. It has the synthy jazz instrumentals that are melancholic, but also has that classic simcity cheer. 2: The game kind of has a dystopian feel to it, at least visually. The ground is brown, with only sparse trees filling the world, buildings are fairly realistic, with not many colors, outside of the luxury homes and the Arcos are very intimidating structures, like something out of Judge Dredd or, again, Blade Runner. 3: Omg, water sucks in this game xD. Why does this game feel so moody, at least to me? It's also intensly funny, and I will never not laugh when 1700 llamas die in a plane crash.
Is it frowned upon to do community goals offline? I tried doing it only and got smoked by a pirate in like 10 seconds. Not upset or anything, piracy is fair game, and it was exciting for the 10 seconds I was alive, but if I actually want to contribute, should I be offline?
Hiya commanders! I havent played since 2018 but recently got back into it, and I've been exploring like nuts! I got a thargoid question? Can they show up outside of invaded territories? I was around Ueon, getting back from an expedition and I picked up a lot of nonhuman signals in a star system? I didnt check it out cuz I was in a hurry to get home, and didn't want to risk loosing 25mil in data Edit: Nuen! I meant Nuen, dunno where Ueon came from lol
Kind fellow, my friend is.
