Oh I love it sooooo much! I really appreciate the asynchronous multiplayer, where I can play a turn, send it to my partner, and they can take their turn whenever they want later on. I don’t love having to be attached to my phone while playing phone games and not able to quit whenever I want.

I think I paid 40USD for both of my Dualsense controllers, but both on a heady sale.

Luck be a Landlord is fantastic! I just got it and spent way too much time playing it.

Ascension if you like deck builders. It has full expansion packs like getting the physical card game, but it’s fun without them and the expansions are cheap as hell. There’s a pack where you get tons of them that goes on sale sometimes. It doesn’t have dark patterns, but the packs could be classified as DLC I think. They’re just a couple dollars USD instead of 20-30 like the physical cards.

Full disclosure: I own the physical cards and fucking love this game.

Windows 3.1 and 3.11 were amazing. Windows 95 was fine. Windows 98 was much better. Windows ME would make the most sense in this tag’s context, but it’s not a number so 95 is the next best option.

I watch things all the time on my iPhone, no ads ever! Use Wipr for a couple bucks or Firefox Focus for free and no ads!

Hell yeah. My partner and I only take pictures of meals we’ve made ourselves when we’re super proud, and occasionally when a piece of sushi looks extra good. Neither of us are into social media.

(Also neither of us make each other watch things on our phones. We just take a note if something sounds interesting and pull it up on the big screen later.)

There’s a couple good mobile games. Ascension, Lick Be A Landlord, and Shattered Pixel Dungeon are the only ones I play.

Oh it’s solo or multiplayer! You play a hand and ship the game to someone else. Or you can play against a CPU. I play mobile, it’s like the only mobile game I enjoy. I wonder if the Steam version is cross play?

Not your preference but Ascension is my favorite deckbuilder. You can play a round and ship it to someone, and they can play with you right away or you can play over the course of a week. Like chess over mail or whatever that was.

Journey is so extremely not asynchronous though hahaha
