Nice strawmen you got there. I never said anything actually about the use in film nor did I say anything about personal preference.
I protest the idea of categorizing sex and nudity as vices at the same level as drugs and violence. That is something the graph presupposes by comparing to these and actually labeling sex as a vice.
Of course one could have a discussion on when and how sexuality in media should be depicted but not under the premise that sex is a vice.
Edit: Surely you would agree that defecating is not a vice? No one should tell someone they should not shit. Or you should be ashamed of shitting.
No one says shitting is on the same level as taking drugs or beating someone to death.
So why do people lump sex in with violence and drugs.

That sex is even considered a vice on the same level as drugs and violence is fucking bonkers.
This graph alone gives legitimacy to this idea. Nudity and sex are completely normal (and necessary) things in life. That something that is needed for everyone reading this to exist being labeled as a vice like violence and drugs is actually disgusting IMHO.

Iirc it was some German general around the first world war.
Edit: it is probably based on von Moltke the elder a prussian field marshal

What always gets me in a conspiracy thinking spiral is remembering that the people (that were always portrayed as total nutters) talking about the us gov investigating mind control and drugging people were right (mk ultra, etc).
I maintain that "conspiracy theory" should not be a thought stopper. One should not disregard something just because it seems like a classic "conspiracy theory". Most people I discuss stuff like that with just stop thinking after forming the thought "conspiracy theory".
On the other side we see what happens if people "do their own research"...

1080'ties really were legendary cards. Back then I only had a 1060ti as my prior card broke unexpectedly and that was all the money I could spare.

This reminds me of an old thread on a random forum. Just when Sims 2 was released they were speculating what Sims 3 would look like.
Someone suggested that the next game will surely be in the source engine!
While your point is more realistic than that I still don't think valve could pull this off in reasonable time. Translation for games is extremely hard to do right. I think if at all there will be another generation of decks before we see something like this.

Yes, many. It depends on what you are looking for (image generation, text generation, text to speech, speech to text, etc) and what hardware you have.

Spoilers are not standardized on Lemmy every client can choose to ignore it and there are different syntaxes in use. On eternity it's not a spoiler btw

Yes to both questions.
Edit: I think the problem is that many think that art must have intrinsic value. Well I disagree. Art can be trashy but still art.

I think that word is used wrongly here. Enshittification is a specific process and not just a product getting worse.
Gerade aus Langeweile auf Google Maps die Luftqualität angeschaut. Fast überall in Deutschland und Nordfrankreich gut bis sehr gut. Aber es gibt einen klaren blob um Stralsund.
I hope this is a good place for this. A few weeks ago I started a simple experiment: Block every community in the All feed that is about the US election in some way. I thought this up after a thread about the Biden debate, as someone kindly (not really kindly) informed me that I should curate my own experience here. I thought about it and realized just how much election/politics stuff there is on the front page. It was quite hard blocking communities I like, especially 196 on blahaj. Now the quality of my feed did go up in some ways but it's very slow. I also realized that I am feeling a lot less rage/anger than before when scrolling lemmy. I didn't even realize how much the constant political stuff from another continent affected me... What is your opinion on this? Is Lemmy really filled with too much US political rage bait? Should I continue with my zero tolerance policy? It would also interest me to hear an American perspective. Is there more or less politics here, on other platforms or real life. How does rage/hate affect you when scrolling through Lemmy and does it take a toll?
