An MS paint drawing captioned "new invntion: euphoria generator (for mtf)" The drawing consists of a large box labeled "euphoria generator 2000". In the box is a stick figure wearing a dress, a fan turned on, and a hook to store the dress (or cloth depending on if she is out or not). All of these items, along with the euphoria in her head, are labeled.

Nice!
I really want these to become real places
On a painted background depicting trees, skyscrapers, and whimsical elements, there are 5 glassy computer widgets. From the top left to bottom right, they are: date/time, to-do, weather (1st row) calendar events, fav sites and search (2nd row)

Very clunky on mobile and a bit unintuitive but I think it'll work

Thay's what I was thinking. Google maps/street view only goes back to the late 00s, but I'd like to go back as far as the early 20th century if not earlier
Sometimes I go past an old looking building or see some traces of old signage on a store and wonder what they used to be, especially when those traces are hard to read or obscured.

What movement does this "watch" have?

Personally:
-
Osaka gets bullied often
-
Chiyo barely survives
-
Sakaki attempts to defend her friends, mainly Chiyo and Osaka
-
idk for Yomi, probably little/no interaction
-
Tomo interacts with the main characters almost every school day
-
Kagura interacts with the main characters about a few times per week, still cares about the rest of the azumanga characters though
The drama and chaos in the Class of 09 game really makes me wonder how the Azumanga cast would react. The settings are also similar: both take place in a 2000s high school. For those that don't know what class of 09 is, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1jvXZ-Tqc4 should give you an idea.

I run a small discord server which has about 200 ppl and it's fairly active (few messages per day), but that's a different format/platform
As for getting new members on here, try asking the mods of those communities for a collab or affiliation or something

idk if you got the joke or not but it's an overexaggerated meme about fans in media overanalyzing random stuff

i agree, glad to see someone join recently. Are you planning to post here anytime soon?
What other active communities do you not have here? Mine includes:
-
r/ArchitecturalRevival sub for classic architecture, no lemmy equivalent
-
r/StainedGlassHeaven, no lemmy equivalent
-
r/ArtNouveau, with inactive lemmy equivalent artnouveau@lemmy.world
-
r/FrutigerAero, with inactive lemmy equivalent frutiger_aero@sopuli.xyz
-
r/CozyPlaces, with inactive lemmy equivalents cozyplaces@lemmy.world, Cozy Places@lemmit.online
I also have an interest for mechanical clocks with a semi active sub and no lemmy equivalent. I use Discord for my clock stuff

Nice elegant logo, especially with the gear/plant transition
This variant is the best looking imo for large sizes

I agree, the larger slice of life lemmy community seems decemtly active tho
I wonder if there's a decent portion of lemmy users on the azumanga subreddit that didn't know that an equivalent lemmy existed, or that they didn't want to join because of the inactivity
For a community to be active, there should be at least 200-500 ppl as far as I know
I feel like most users have switched back to Reddit, but I'd like to have an alternative to Reddit. I might post memes here but I don't want to keep this active by myself. This is also a common issue within lemmy, and I did try to revive 2 other communities, but one barely succeded while the other just didn't see much new posts.
