They're still cosplaying decentralisation. Google hosts images on a separate domain to the one where they serve documents, are they decentralised? When we see more indexers, by all means let's consider BlueSky decentralised, but until then, they're just offloading traffic.

Yeah, I take umbrage with the verbage. It would be dystopian to force people with a high BMI onto the drugs
Thought this was kinda epic. But if everyone disagrees, feel free to delete. Voice actors should definitely be getting residuals though.

As a side note, it's kinda interesting how that fediverse.info tries to pretend that Lemmy isn't a thing, all while treating WordPress like it's the second biggest Fediverse surface and not currently trying to fuck over a bunch of users and long-term contributors.
I've long been a super fan of Minuum Keyboard. I backed the IndieGoGo campaign and then bought it when it was officially released for Android. It's been my daily driver for 11 years. Everyone has different wants and needs for a keyboard and I was lucky to find mine met in Minuum. I had this powerful computer in my pocket and felt that it should compute at all times and make my life easier. The sloppy typing model did that for me. I never understood why people wanted a keyboard to replicate that of a typewriter and take up all that real estate, keyboards were supposed to get out of the way, not take up more room. I dreamed about the machine learning algorithm improving to the point that I would never ever need to open it up to full mode, but when they should've been making improvements in that regard, they started trying to make emoji keyboards. Unfortunately they couldn't make the company profitable in a way that could sustain them and pay the backers and it fell into disrepair. Still I persisted. The unparalleled typing speed and efficiency was out of this world and that's all I wanted. An experience designed for mobile that excelled at mobile. Unfortunately with Android 15 and no update since 2017 I believe, it's now time to say goodbye. The bottom row is inaccessible in the latest iteration of Android. There was some brief hope last year when one of the developers promised an update should they get time to clean up the code, but it never came to fruition. The downfall of Minuum was that people prefer familiarity and that sucks as it was a glimpse of the future or what the future could be. Burn the pyre! End the stream Dave!

SyncThing syncs a massive folder and Muzei randomises them and switches them every half hour. If they're ever the same on two devices, I start stressing because something has gone horribly wrong.

Hopefully we see some decent forks pop up.

Have this on all my devices to sync wallpapers. Such a shame when developers burn out

Ask Michelin, it was in one of the videos. Maybe the composite they're using is more resilient.

They don't wear like traditional tires. At some point I'm sure planned obsolescence will creep into the design process, because capitalism. But as they stand, they're one set of tires for the lifecycle of a vehicle.
Honestly this is why I'm so into the idea of airless tires. Everyone just happily ignores this waste and I don't get it

This just after they announced their autonomous taxis. They really might need a new CEO.

I like the updated spelling. Also this Sun God cult thing seems like it's gonna be interesting.

The way the world turns a blind eye to these war crimes is horrendous.
He will always be remembered as a suspected racist and leaves after a bunch of awful results. Hopefully they can find someone as progressive as Arteta.
At this point, Matt has to go. Open source is open source. It's that simple. WP Engine should donate more, but capitalism is all about exploitation and that's what they were doing. That's not on WordPress to right as a wrong. When they were selling free tier users' content to LLMs, I didn't see them offering to pay 8% forward to users.

Indeed. And Android apps are still smaller.

This is pointless, as we get European stuff, but I guess it makes sense for those few random things that are made just for the UK.
