Well they did let them move troops through their territory to strike the city of Kiev directly in the early days of the war.

A vote for Kamala is a vote for genocide. You can "lesser evil" it as much as you want, but there's no denying it. If you can compromise on that on a personal level, then sure vote blue. But for many that's one thing that they cannot legitimise by voting for it.

Same here. The fact that the scene starts with her in her underwear already made me uncomfortable, and then it kept getting worse as it went on.

I hate solarpunk so much. It's such a childish reading of what the future should look like.

Eh, funny that Bellular is framing it this way considering he'll just go on to praise Blizzard's next update as The Best Thing Ever

And not only that but the governor general still has that same constitutional power.

As far as I know most have actual powers, they just don't use it.

Considering they still own, in way or another, their aristocratic estates, yes.
I don't care how much "real" power they have. If you actually believe in a meritocracy how can you defend someone getting a job because of their lineage, attending real political events and ceremonies and influencing policies that way? And let's not forget that in many cases, they ACTUALLY have institutional powers they just don't use because they don't have to, the institutions serve their interests all the same. Sorry for the pointless rant. It just happens way too often.

I like stand-up. It's probably the only time of the day I see my coworkers. Also we don't do status reports or anything so maybe I'm just lucky ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Everything I've listed is a non-exhaustive list of things CD Project did to get raving reviews for Cyberpunk on release. People may have forgotten about it but they did not allow gameplay videos, only allowed screenshots from promotional material and also promised reviewers that all the bugs and performance problems would be fixed by a day one patch.
So yes, they can and do influence reviews, even if not by literally sending money.
Australia's investment is a clear move to counter chinese influence in the pacific, and the choice to do so with a multinational police force of some sorts is definitely interesting, if nothing else, Remains to be seen if it will bear any fruits.
Although I'm 100% sure everyone understood something different from Lain, it was a very interesting trip lol.
I'm not sure if it will actually mean anything, but I wasn't actually expecting to see a verdict.
Just a small lizard waiting for headpats ʘ‿ʘ
Has your average commonplace unchallenged ideas of China, but is overall a great video.
It's as if getting an advantage because of money instead of merit and effort is unfair. Such a wild idea could only really work on videogames haha.

Enjoyed blasting through the campaign. Except where you notice they released the chapters later and the difficulty spikes are pretty bonkers if you ask me. The way you build your character is also much more manageable compared to something like Path of Exile too, so that's a big plus for me.
Well, this kind of technology was just a matter of time.
There's rumors FFXIV will announce the release date for the next expansion, but I'm not so sure. What other games will have panels or interesting things going on there?
Yes, it's over literally nothing. Yes, gamers are harassing people.
We all know there's no difference between them (specially if you live outside the US), but I'm actually impressed how little the Biden campaign is doing. All they really got is "Trump bad", some bs about inflation being under control (if you exclude rent and food) and "protecting LGBT rights" (which I might have missed but Biden did literally nothing about?). They should want to win to have their party implement the oligarchic plans and get that sweet sweet lobbying money right? Or are the elites actually preferring Trump right now?
> In just the past few days, Russian forces captured the key city of Avdiivka in Ukraine’s east, and swiftly promised not to lessen the pressure and continue their move west. Chasiv Yar is just 30 miles north of Avdiivka, and Chaus says he’s worried that his town, already ravaged by the war, would now bear an even greater brunt of the fighting. ... Russian military bloggers and Western analysts this week reported renewed fighting near the village of Robotyne in the southern Zaporizhzhia region, which Ukraine’s troops liberated last August, in what, at the time, was seen as an important win that could get Kyiv closer to disrupting Russia’s land bridge to occupied Crimea.
