It's just one of those meals that makes me feel nostalgic. 😊 It's one of the few dinners I make that doesn't require any modifications from the way I had it as a kid in order to be meatless.

It's gotta be cheap American cheese slices all the way, baby. I prefer real (rennet-free) cheese for almost any other sandwich, but for a grilled cheese, there's no competing with Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product.

I used Campbell's tomato soup as the base, but I added some extra flavor with dried ground basil and rosemary, and topped it with a sprinkle of parmesan and parsley

Officer Brendan Sullivan? Surely not that Brendan Sullivan?
If so, this was a perfect phone prank, 5/7.

Oof. Summed up my relationship with D&D in a 4-page comic. I love the game, but at the same time, it's just too stressful to play anymore.

Help me out, what kind of DnB are you referring to? Google gives me a lotta different results when I search DnB

I somewhat wish for d&d and b&d to switch places, so it would read like a Punnett square. There'd be "bed" and "dungeons" on one axis, and "breakfast" and "dragons" on the other axis, and so you see the result you get when they cross.
But I know that would've spoiled the comedic flow.

Yes Brave Sir Robin turned about and gallantly he chickened out. Bravely taking to his feet, he beat a very brave retreat. Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!

The rules state that you either die or fall unconscious when you have 0 hit points. The definition of "unconscious" in Appendix A specifies that you are incapacitated AND can't move or speak AND are unaware of your surroundings.
EDIT: Maybe I shouldn't assume you're talking about 5e. I have no idea about 5.5e or any other edition

OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THIS ONE.
I remember going back and following literally every single possible story path and never making it to the planet Ultima. And then going through page-by-page until I actually found it.
That's wild, this must have been about 20 years ago. Thanks for reminding me of a childhood memory.

The guy had a knife, which might have injured one of the cops, maybe. ... they think there might be the slightest minor chance that they could be in a little bit of danger.
I don't disagree with your overall sentiment that police need better de-escalation training and non-lethal defense weapons - but you need to seriously re-examine your perception of how dangerous a knife attack is. Please don't trivialize it just to make a point, because it undermines your own credibility and weakens your otherwise reasonable argument.

Took a road trip from Kansas to Utah and Arizona, just played Marty Robbins the whole way. It was a spiritual experience

Okay, so I used Ziyad falafel mix... but I still mixed it and fried it myself :D
I'm on my fifth playthrough of the game, 597 hours in total. The first four playthroughs were as various Pagan and Muslim faiths. I never once saw anything about a heresy appear in game. This time around I decided to start as a Catholic and establish a new Christian faith. I've already been given two separate prompts asking me if I want to convert to the Cathar heresy, and then later my new Christian faith was declared a heresy and about six random rulers throughout Europe decided to convert to my faith without any input from me. Seems like heresies are a big deal when you start as a European Catholic but I had no idea they even existed before this. I tried reading up on it and it seems like heresies occur when Fervor is too low. Does anyone know if heresies can occur in other religions? I usually don't pay close attention to Fervor, so I'm not sure if it's a Christian-exclusive mechanic, or if Catholicism just happens to be one of the only faiths with such a swingy Fervor score.

I'm absolutely loving CK3 and wondering if anyone can recommend something similar for me. I'm looking for games with personal character-based role-playing, where you can influence and customize your culture, religion and government. I like light-to-moderate strategy elements, but I'm more interested in the world-building and immersion. I don't mind whether it's a historical setting or not. Looking forward to hearing your favorite recommendations! Thanks in advance!
This event randomly popped up while I was playing. My character is the Sunni Caliph. I have a custom faith with the **Pacifism** tenet; I thought I needed **Struggle and Submission** to initiate Great Holy Wars at all. Also, why would I need to "retake" the core regions when my faith already controls all five holy sites? And why didn't I have any decision or input if my own character is the one declaring an era of renewed Jihad? This is bizarre.
The sauce is a blend of refried beans and chunky salsa. The cheese is a mix of Mexican-style shredded cheese and crumbled queso fresco. Topped with fresh cilantro and lightly-crushed nacho cheese Doritos after baking. Inspired by my local Casey's convenience store.
A curry made from puréed spinach, veggies and spices; with fried paneer cheese and toasted naan flatbread
Sautéed black beans, corn, onions, spinach, chilies and shredded cheese; wrapped up in flour tortillas, smothered in sauce and more cheese, baked at 415° F for 12 minutes.
Radishes, onion, garlic, carrots, green beans, mushrooms, salt, pepper, sage, thyme, parsley, rosemary, and Maggi vegetable broth base. Thickened with a roux made from flour and olive oil.
Fried eggs, sunny side up with "Everything Bagel" seasoning; Morningstar plant-based sausage-pancake-on-a-stick (I am so glad they make these, it takes me back to my childhood); and the sweetest damn Bartlett pear I've ever tasted.
