I highly recommend this channel, everything I've cooked following his recipes has been delicious. Lots of cheese-less recipes too 😊

You mean it only applies to the US, or something different?

I've been reading a lot about personal finance. The Millionaire Next Door really opened my eyes.
I also learned about leading and lagging indicators and thought that was cool!

Monument Valley. Got the first one for free during a promotion but loved it enough to pay for the sequel and extra levels.

Thinking about things that I don't want to think about 🙃. I have some bureaucratic stuff that I've been putting off dealing with, and I am hoping to buckle down and get those dealt with this weekend. There are other things in that vein that I've been procrastinating on, but one step at a time.

Is a TDF a good choice for growing my money, in this case? I plan to use it for a house down payment and withdraw it in 5-7 years. I've been thinking of putting it in a 2030 or 2035 TDF. Should I go this route or just VTSAX and chill? Background: USA, I will be saving in a taxable account, and I want to minimize my tax liability as much as possible.
For the purpose of this question, the target age range is 20-30. Asking because I feel like I'm wasting my youth.

Please recommend me a shampoo! I have long 2b/2c wavy hair. I currently use tresemme flawless curls shampoo+conditioner 2x/week. I'm looking to start using a gentle shampoo more often now that it's summer and I'm working out 6 days a week. US drugstore brands preferred but I wouldn't mind driving to a cosmetics store to stock up. :) (I hope it's okay to post here - the hair communities I could find are all inactive.)
It's a one-time payment. You can spend it on anything fitness or health related. Edit: I'm not looking for recommendations, I'm curious what YOU would spend it on.
The best by date is in 2 days. I know about the water test for egg freshness so I'm not super concerned, but please give me ideas for using them up within a week or so 🥺 I've boiled a few and am planning to make some cookie dough, but that only counts for half a dozen.
Recently got back into the gym and feel absolutely wiped after about 4 lifts. Lately I've been doing an A/B style routine where: Workout A: Squat, bench, RDL, row. Workout B: Deadlift, OHP, leg press, lat pulldown Now I'm not asking for program critique, but I'm wondering if it's okay to not do more accessories?
Laptop battery recently died, and I'm planning a new PC build anyway, so I'm wondering: can I just remove the HDD from my laptop and connect it to the motherboard? Would I need any extra parts or hardware? I'm guessing no, but it's hard to research on my phone. Any guidance is appreciated :) thanks!
It's cold and rainy in my city Edit: Thank you for all the responses, I am glad they will be fine.
Hi, I am looking to build my first PC. It will be for general use (web browsing, programming, office work; no gaming). Here is my part list: [PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/user/yellostone/saved/ZYHx99) I based it on the [Logical Increments](https://www.logicalincrements.com/) minimum tier. I will be using Arch Linux for the OS. Some questions... 1. How painful is it to update the motherboard BIOS? 2. Am I missing anything obvious? I'm unsure if I need a sound card, for example. [Newegg](https://www.newegg.com/asrock-b450m-ac-r2-0/p/N82E16813157974?Item=N82E16813157974) says this motherboard has a wifi and bluetooth module. Is there anything else I should consider getting? 3. Is there a way to check if any of the parts will not work/be incompatible with my chosen OS? I've never had a problem with Linux drivers on any of my laptops, so I'm fairly confident it will be fine, but I still want to make sure. Thanks :) Edit: ~~[I made an updated list based on your suggestions](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bthsCd)~~ [New updated link](https://pcpartpicker.com/user/yellostone/saved/tk264D)
In this technique, you reach between uke's legs, grab their belt, and pull it straight up to turn them over. Does anyone recognize this, and if so, do you know if it has a name or if there's a video of it floating around?
Let's say, less than 100USD for 50ml. Oils or clone houses also okay!
Right now, mine is buying the fancy expensive dark chocolate 🍫
I've been thinking of setting some goals for the month. I lost my primary hobby (temporarily 🤞), so I've just been reading and spending ungodly amounts of time on Lemmy & Reddit. I want to spend my time in a more healthy and fulfilling way... What are some goals you all are working towards? What are your hobbies that make you feel fulfilled? What's something that makes you look forward to the (near) future?
