It's been like 6 years since I've owned a car but I'll try to estimate what is was when I had one.
- $150 a year in registration
- $100 a month in insurance
- $100 a month in gas
- Not sure about maintenance but probably $50-$100 a month
- $130 a year city sticker
So my estimate is $3500-$4000 a year
But I do spend about $150 a year in bicycle maintenance so there's that. And about $50 a month in bus fares.

Earlier this year I had a connection in Doha, Qatar on my way to the US. I had to go through security twice even though it was a connection from another international flight (first was after getting off the first flight and the second was right before getting on second flight). Both times they took away all liquids, even those bought in the airport.

My mom got one but she upgraded from a 3 so it's a big improvement. I got an 8 a couple month ago and see no reason to upgrade. Most of the changes seem to be AI related with very minor hardware improvements.

I've only gotten 3 (yes I'm behind) and my 5G is great. I get 700 Mbps on speed test. Maybe you got too many and the 5Gs are all fighting each other!

Book ads are at least usually at the end of the book and for other books you might want to read. And they're static. If internet ads were like book ads I wouldn't have to block them.

I wish more creators were on nebula. I would like to support them on patron but $5+ a month per channel adds up really quickly.

My cousin couldn't understand how I bought groceries after I sold my car. After telling him I walked three blocks to the store he asked how I bought groceries in winter. I told him I put on a coat and boots and walk three blocks to the store.

I've put 12000 miles on my trucker and love it, but i still think in an apocalypse I'd want a nice steel single speed (bonus if belt drive). The less maintenance and parts the better.

I was a two block walk from where the 135 went express and my work was a two blocks from a bus stop. The red line took longer because is was a >10 minute walk on each end. The brown line stopped closer to my work but still took longer than the bus (without traffic).
I would usually check the traffic on LSD before heading home and if it was really bad take the L, in the morning traffic was usually not bad enough to where the L was faster.

I had a 20 minute biking commute from Lakeview to the very north area of the loop but it was 30 minutes on an express bus or 45 minutes on the L door to door. A 20 minute door to door transit commute is lucky.

I was put on the 24th floor of an office building with a desk facing the window while the company I worked for renovated our 10th floor office. It was really cool, there was a small hawk that liked to hang out on the window ledge and I had a nice view. When the renovation was done I was moved back to a cubicle with only florescence lights.
