My idea for conntact was to have lets say an email list where if Kapow decides to reopen EH to be able to tell us all or I decide to open my instance to be able to tell y'all
For those who are not going to migrate to nostr: Would you like to exchange some other way of communication? Email, matrix, session. Whatever it is. If we evere decide to rebuild the community on lemmy or something like that.

No, the reason is that I host a lemmy instance and when updating it the script deletes the current nginx configuration file.
DNS records will prevent it at least for small users. In the case that you are like one of those big nostr only sites you'll have no issue with a script deleting your config.

I am trying to set up a lightning node but I can't get it to recieve transactions. I can send sats but cannot recieve. It might be a Wallet of Satoshi issue but I am not sure since it doesn't give any logs.
Decided to try iris and it deleted all my group chats in nostr. Can you remind me what the EH chat public key is?

Yesn't. At least the "easy way" where both domains look the same is impossible. You can use the same domain but lemmy would look like domain.com and the relay would look like domain.com:7777.

I like nostr but don't like the twitter style posts.
I suggest we stay on here untill an app with better communities support for Nostr is developed. While waiting we don't just wait but actively support the developement. That means the developers develop, the people with the money donate and the people with advertisement skills advertise. My proposal is to keep using lemmy with native good communities support while also step by step we migrate fully to nostr when it is ready. As you may have noticed in the recent days EH was down for some time. The issue was that the version of lemmy that the site is running is nkt very stable. I would suggest we switch software with something more complete backend. If @admin@exploding-heads.com has no issues I would like to run a vote. A vote that would chanve the future route of EH if the admin agree to follow the outcome of the vote. The things that I would like you to vote are: 1. Would you like to keep the site running? 2. Would you like to ise another software like lemmy but better functioning?

Hey guys, Recently I noticed that there has been this community called !x7finance. Obvious advertising community which is against the rules. Today the community !cultdao has been made and there Kapow has made several posts which are also obviously advertisements. Kapow himself has made normal posts after the cult dao posts so I don't know... What do you think? It is kind of worrying.
