I kinda think it should be flipped vertically, so that you have Florida in FNQ, and then NY/PA/MA running down NSW/VIC. Also get Texas for the NT, and Adelaide can be in Minnesota lol
Seems to match weather and politics a bit better, though idk if anything matches up on the west coast. Seattle for Perth? And would that make Broome San Francisco/LA? The US interior is a lot more noisy with states than Australia lol.

More Australian ingenuity.
It's for inventions like this we need to properly fund the CSIRO

Yeah, except for the little fact that they all lied about fuel economy and cheated on emissions testing.

So, it's about 65% (2 out of every 3!) of parliamentarians that own investment property. And possibly 5% that rent.
Contrast that with 20% of all taxpayers, or 14.9% of all Australians own an investment property. And 30% of all Australians rent. (Sources: investment, rent)
Not really representative of the population, is it?
The phrase that keeps popping into my head is "Elite ruling class"...

You could always use the Page Information to get the Created and Last updated from the web server.
Oh, wait. All the pages are dynamically generated,.so both of those are dated now. 😥

Yeah, but matching the fade is difficult, otherwise you still would still, errr, draw attention to that spot

I just get worried about the quality of the food that kids might get.
eg, IIRC in the US, pizza is classed as a vegetable ...

There's some insects I am instantly triggered to kill (eg Mozzies), some I just run away from (eg wasps), and then there's some like these and ladybugs and I'm 'Well, hello little friend! I hope you find some lovely nectar or aphids!'

Damn cookers.
I don't need 5G towers either, since I got vaccinated.

The main attractor to me is that with an electric car, you could theoretically be energy independent. Same goes with an ebike.
Eg, Solar -> battery -> EV/ebike
No need to be relying on rotten dinosaurs dug up out of wherever, with a million middle men and taxes.

What if there were some way for you to not be in Australia?
idk, maybe like some sort of network by proxy, or maybe a 'virtual' network that was private?

Yeah, it could well take them a few episodes or even a couple of seasons to mesh.
You guys let me know if/when it gets good. Ta. 🤣
So, who are you supporting for the Grand Final? I can't make my mind up. I don't want Penrith to win again. I hate dynasties, and I think it's better for the game when teams rise and fall. It's one of the benefits of a salary cap. But I don't like Melbourne, because of their historical rorting of the salary cap, ruining multiple seasons of the NRL. And the whole introduction of wrestling manoeuvres into footy. A lot of their game seems to be based on cheating or exploiting weaknesses in rukes rather than playing in the spirit of the game. Or do I just barrack for the referee, touchies and video reviewers?
I thought maybe someone was marking cars that had been highlighted on Dashcam Owners Australia, but apparently not.... Thank God resources have been allocated for a strike force! One poor victim got the paint off with WD40, but the trauma will last forever!
On Four Corners tonight (check your local guides): Channel Seven bills itself as a family network, but a Four Corners investigation finds it to be a "second chance club" for senior men, described as a "degrading, soul-crushing" workplace. Expect the attacks on the ABC to intensify .....
Sorry if this has been asked/answered previously, but it just struck me that I hadn't really noticed any impacts of CloudStrike on aussie.zone. Was wondering if it was a non-event, or maybe there are some war stories with heroes deserving medals!
Twins in a pram rolled onto the track at Carlton. Terrible.
Demolition in the first half. - Moses making 50-60m with his kicks - Angus Crighton like a runaway tank - even Trell looking like a footy player again - Liam Martin, clean it up. Grubby all night. - Used to think DCE was overrated, now I think he may be underrated... The traditional 1-1 back to QLD for NSW to lose game 3 looks to be happening again....
I use old.reddit.com, and had trouble logging in from there today. "Too many redirects". I also use the Redirect to old.reddit.com extension. When I disabled that, the login link it now takes you to is https://www.reddit.com/login/. That, of course, takes you to www.reddit.com. The old 'popup' login box has been removed. I also noticed that the in sub logins where they used to have username/password entry boxes have been removed. More reddit enshitification to try and make us use their horrible UI.
He's passed EVERY test. He's more Aussie than anyone I know!
Footy is back, and so is [Bludging on the Blindside](https://www.abc.net.au/listen/programs/bludging-on-the-blindside)! Chookies vs Silvertails this arvo. Carn the Chooks 🐔
Ok I have a confession to make. I often don't put tomato sauce on things that are ~~expected~~ required by Aussies to have tomato sauce. It's a shameful thing, and I don't want to talk about that. But, sometimes I *must* have tomato sauce. The bottle is almost empty, and after upgrading my BBQ sauce and Mayo, surely there is a great bang for the buck tomato sauce. [Choice](https://www.newidea.com.au/best-tomato-sauce-ketchup-in-australia) rated [Community Co A Squeeze of Tomato Sauce](https://communityco.com.au/cooking-needs-condiments/), available from IGA, as number 1 in 2019 from a list of over 20 tomato sauces/ketchups. Anyone tried this and can give me a recommendation and reasons on why I should try something else over this? Ima have to apologise in advance for being a questioning beotch that expects a reference to a scientific study for every statement...after quoting Choice 🤣
Hope you're enjoying yourself, and have a great 2024!
Hope everyone has an exciting or relaxing Christmas. Whichever one they wished for! And be safe in your travels.
I thought that the media was a little over the top with reporting every electric car fire. Little did I realise just how blown out of proportion it was: "...electric vehicle battery fires are rare. Indeed, the available data indicate the fire risk is **between 20 and 80 times greater for petrol and diesel vehicles**. "
So, it appears the first SMR project in the US was scrapped due to rising costs. An Aussie SMR would take 10-15 years before even being online and we'd be the guinea pigs. Perhaps it's time to pivot to technology already available and that can be implemented in the short term?
Reckon I could have won it easily with a Bachelor's Handbag....
