I've got a lot of probably incorrect guesses. What country?
I disable it, turn my brightness to max, 30 seconds later, my phone has turned auto brightness back on by itself and dropped my brightness. Battery fully charged. Don't have battery saver mode turned on. WHY? Why does my phone keep turning this on against my will and how can I stop it permanently? Phone is OnePlus 7t because I'm a poor.

Wipe is not an option, don't read further if you plan on suggesting it. I don't necessarily think I'll get help here, but I love Lemmy and it constantly surprises me, so I'll shoot my shot. The other day I downloaded and installed driver updates for my motherboard and then a BIOS update as well. I'm paranoid about stuff so even though I'm experienced with this stuff for the most part I still followed the instructions step by step to a T and made sure it was for my correct motherboard. After rebooting my internet wasn't working so I checked device manager and it was showing an error for my network adapter which along with other drivers was among the updates. So I tried various things with that for hours and never made any headway. Internet over bluetooth doesn't seem to want to work or be detected, my phone won't tether Internet over USB correctly either or it's not being detected by the PC. So I ordered both a PCIe LAN card and a PCIe WiFi card. The lan card uses the same drivers apparently and so it's just an additional error'd out Realtek Family Whatever Whatever; the Wi-Fi card doesn't appear at all. Both the lans do light up during booting and in BIOS but shut down once Windows loads it's drivers. I've rolled back my system as far as I can which unfortunately do to trying to many other things before the rollback I could only go back to installing one of the first drivers. I've tried different drivers and different BIOS. I've run SFC but it required Internet for some files, DISM requires Internet or a install image but I don't have one and don't have room on my phone to download one. I've tried in safe mode and I've probably tried 30 other things to no avail that escape my mind right now. Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
About a month ago this app seemed to break and I've been patiently waiting for a fix but there have been updates since then and it's still broke. At least half of the posts don't load for me at all, I have to refresh a lot to get any content on the homepage and usually it's not up to date. Is the issue known, is it being worked on? This is easily the best app for Lemmy in my opinion and I would hate to have to switch.
"I'm in here." Feels strange because they're a stranger, who am *I* to them? "Someone's in here." Feels weird, why am I speaking in 3rd person about myself? "Occupied." Feels to proper and formal.
I don't know if it's just the brain that I'm equipped with or if this is a huge struggle for others, but these horrid questions always seem to nosedive an otherwise great interview. Even though there's endless examples of these situations throughout my working career, the minute I get asked these questions it's like my whole brain decides to shut down and I cannot recall a single good example. I've been a manager for several places that trusted me with a ton of responsibility and yet these interviewers think these questions can sum up all that I am and all that I've experienced. I've even had one interview where this was the entirety of all they had to say to me, just one after another in front of 3 individuals staring me down. All these serve to do is ruin interviews for me and I don't understand why EVERY company is now incorporating them into the process. Could I perhaps be coached into giving the right kinds of answers? Probably, but I don't like feeling dishonest and frankly why should I have to invest so much time and potentially money into the interview process for companies that won't even come close to paying me a living wage, let alone a competitive one? I'm just so sick of it.
I keep randomly getting logged out of Lemm.ee in the Voyager app ever since the update the other day, but the real big problem is that when it happens my account is removed from Voyager and I have to add it back. Immediately following the update all but one of my accounts was removed and I had to add them all back, but this is the one I use primarily and it keeps getting removed at random points. I can begrudgingly tolerate getting logged out randomly because it's maybe at most twice a day so far, but why in the world are accounts removed from the app when that happens so I can't just quickly log back in?!
Let's keep it light-hearted. For me I've seemed to notice way more conservatives back their cars into spaces than their liberal counter parts.
For example, if I type out a sentence and decide I want to add asterisks around a word for emphasis, why does Gboard replace the space between the previous word and the emphasized word instead of just adding the new character? Is this added functionality for something I just don't understand? Edit: I believe I have fixed the issue by disabling the "Smart Compose" option.

Feels like all of a sudden every thread I open has the worst takes in the comments: religious apologists, conservative propagandists, people defending the worst abuses of power, people stanning for CEOs, middle managers and other corporate ghouls, people defending shitty landlords, etc. Is this Reddit now? I played Dragons Quest Tactics on and off for about a year but I never thought it was very good at all and there were a lot of annoying aspects I hated, recently the game decided to delete all my progress and characters so I'm done with it for good. Is there anything actually fun to play on Android in the same vein?

For the past 3 months or so I've been using a cracked Youtube Premium app, but now it's dropping every video after about a minute. So what's everyone using these days to avoid all of Google's bullshit but still watch Youtube content?
