Actually if you are on a raft with a limited amount of fresh water, you can mix in some sea water to stretch it out a bit. I think if you use a third seawater its ok, but don't quote me on that.

He's suffering from frontotemporal dementia. This is relatively certain. The town hall was classic sundown syndrome. The fundamentalists know this and are going to have him removed from office shortly after the election (if he wins). The democrats would gladly take the opportunity to remove him, as would many republicans. Unfortunately that would put Vance in the oval office which should terrify anyone who doesn't want to larp a handmaid's tale.
As a European I find it utterly bewildering that people seriously consider voting for him. But alas I don't get a say in it.

So I've been relentlessly scat singing. It started in the car any time the radio was off (sometimes for half an hour or more without stopping. Just freestyle jazz noodling, only stopping to breathe). At this point it should be noted that I'm not proficient in scat singing, and had no interest in it prior to a couple of years ago. Recently, however, it's started happening at any time. My family is noticeably irritated by it, but it just sort of comes out. It's getting pretty frequent. I'm seriously considering joining a band as a jazz singer, because while I'm not good at it now, i get a lot of practice and could be really good in a couple of months. Ive been diagnosed with ADHD and my country of residence still uses the icd10 for diagnosis so I wouldn't be diagnosed with anything else anyway. Could this be a complex tic ? Could I have undiagnosed tourettes? Thoughts?

Depends where in Europe. It is a bit bit arguably not as hard right as the states. You also have to consider that the cut off for left and right differ wildly between countries. AOC is pretty much center for Scandinavia. Joe Biden is center right... Which is why we're so concerned about trump.

The heritage Foundation has been putting the right people in the right places for a long fucking time. Trump is only a foot in the door. As a non American, trump winning will destabilise things in Europe way more than it will in America. The cunt's said Russia can do what they want with NATO member states. It means all aid to Ukraine stops and Ukraine will lose because Putin has an endless supply of meat to take it if Ukraine can't find the artillery shells. Russia will turn Ukraine's now highly trained, well equipped, and battle hardened army against Poland. Major bloodbath! After enough primary school children have died on the frontline the Baltic states will be next, followed by Scandinavia.
Sure Europe will eventually stop them but at a massive cost. And that's only if China doesn't openly arm Russia or send troops. The only way to avoid it is if the US and Europe remain tight.

Ok so I left Britain more than 15 years ago and have been living in Norway, blissfully unaware of what's been happening. How popular is this blatant propaganda?
So I know that despite the classic portrayal of an autist being someone who is asexual, many of us are at the opposite end of the scale. Yet if you search for Lemmy communities, there are several for asexual folk and none for hypersexual folk. Is there any good resources for us to rant/support each other/talk about our struggles? If it were specifically for neurodivergent folk, that would be a great bonus.

It mostly happens when I'm stressed and driving with the radio off. I'll just be minding my own business and BAM! I'm 5 minutes into a scat singing solo which lasts until I reach my destination. It doesn't matter how long the journey is, I've stretched it for over an hour wile stuck in traffic once. Sometimes it's a lilting melodic solo, sometimes it's 30 minutes of unhinged post bop madness. Please help me!
I'm not sure if this is something you guys can or want to help with. The bathroom at my current job is completely free of graffiti except for the words "itik nuliak" written very clearly in Sharpie. It's not a language local to where I live and putting it in Google translate doesn't do anything. It's been bothering me.

Got the oven about 6 months ago. Worked without problem until a couple of nights ago. Now whenever I plug it in it immediately trips the breaker. The oven is in all likelihood still under warranty but I'd like to make sure it's the oven and not the thing it's plugged into. I opened the plug and everything is connected the way it should be, without any exposed wires touching each other. If I unplug the oven, the protection device shows normal signal lights and doesn't do anything to the breaker. Is this a known problem?
