My understanding is that they consider it ok to kill someone who committed a heinous crime but not ok to kill someone who is completely innocent.

2 parity is standard and should still be adequate. Likelihood of two failures within four days on the same array is small.

Actually, I think it's a system which uses a medium of exchange to facilitate trade, e.g. capital. As opposed to a barter system. You can have a capitalist system without a free market. I think you could even have a communist system which uses capital to assign value, technically.

This is the government doing it bro, not private citizens. How many bombs is the government commissioning being built? How many blind eyes are they turning to wanton destruction of land?

I was wrong, I could be bothered. None of the alternatives were really great or obviously a better word. Closest I came up with was "quality erosion", but it doesn't convey the same feeling of anger and sadness.

I question those studies. It's way easier to get someone's attention in office than emailing them 3-4x. Additionally teamwork definitely increases when you work face to face at least sometimes.

Yes, of course its theft. Taking what doesn't belong to you is theft. Don't you realize the government also pays itself? Their token "altruism" allegedly "helping people" is a charade to assuage ignorant people. Most members of the US congress make 2-3× what average citizens make base, plus tons more in bribery money and insider trading. Don't even get me started on the absurd amount of stolen money that flows into the coffers of military manufacturing contracting. It's amazing how willing people are to just happily accept 30%-50% of their working hours go to feed those government fat cats.

That's not the definition of freedom. Freedom means you can act or speak without opposition from the state. If the state provides someone with a "free" service and money, that means they took it from someone else, which is theft. We shouldn't encourage one megacorp like the government to increase their theft levels, rather turn to voluntary charity organizations.

Increasing taxes will just end up going to wasteful or corrupt things, like the weapons manufacture industry. It's not the solution the left is looking for. Need more regulation on government spending first. Then see if you need more tax income.

Does anyone have recommendations for software for physical gamebooks? Most of the IF software (understandably) is focused online on computer based games, but I'm looking for something that will help organize links, has the ability to shuffle passages while maintaining links, and can export to text. Does such a program exist?
