The key to understanding is finishing the sentence.
"I hate small talk... with people I have no reason to talk to and don't care about."
I love my partner, and even when it's small talk I can listen all day, just to hear their voice and learn a little more about them, to feel closer to the person I married in many small ways.
But I don't care about what Jim at the laundry mat did last weekend, or which machine he thinks makes socks dry faster.

Read Era is technically free, but I paid for premium years ago and have never regretted it. I can open any kind of uncorrupted book file, from the Amazon reader format to PDF to epub, and everything else I've ever come across. It has a great search function, and the ability to file a book into a custom 'Collection'. You can edit the details of a book, like adding Author or pusblisher info, add your own personal notes to a page or highlighted quote, see an aggregate of all your highlights in a particular file, and adjust the font, background color, and contrast to your hearts content.
I make my whole family use it now, cause I love it so much and Premium works on Family share.
Back in the same ol' place again. Let's see how we do with the second go 'round.

CO is 97% the weight of typical atmospheric mix, so yes it's lighter, but by such a small difference that it spreads and fills a space evenly over a short period of time rather then starting at the ceiling and filling in the space downward.
Basically, going down to escape won't work, you need to get away from the area of high concentration.

Also expect some stringing, a little bit during printing is ok. Use a heat gun if you have one, or a blow dryer can work well as a replacement. The heat causes the thin strings to contact and they practically disappear as you watch. It's pretty fun to do, and satisfying.

Can you imagine that workplace environment though?
"Hey boss, I'm leaving for that 2 weeks paid training on how to catfish a bird my height and get it pregnant with a syringe. "
"Don't forget receipts for accounting."
This is such a wacky world, I love it.

I always head-canon that the transporter pad auto adds .02mm to the Z-Axis of anything that beams in. Just far enough enough that a person won't really feel it, and objects don't rattle or tip from the tiny drop, but not too far so it's not as jarring. Of course a good transport operator can override this, to make an even "smoother" landing. If the tech can reassemble molecules, then why not have an accuracy of microns rather then millimeters? No chance of interphasing matter, if it never overlaps.

You know I still don't understand the issue people have with this. Every bathroom I've been in either has stalls to use with urinals on the side and dividers between those for some privacy, or is only designed for one person at a time anyway. I can't imagine having any issue with anyone of any gender in those types of bathroom, unless they where being clear creeps and trying to press an eye to a gap in a divide or something. Which isn't solved by limiting the genders who can enter, it's solved by building better dividers and not leaving gaps.
This isn't Rome my dude, we're not all sitting in one room and having a face to face while we clart.

This device is a portable e-nail that allows you to vaporize your favorite concentrates on the go. It is a popular choice among vaping enthusiasts because of its convenience, portability, and ease of use. In this article, we will take a closer look at what the Yocan Torch is and how it works. > > **What is a Yocan Torch?** > The Yocan Torch is a portable e-nail that is designed for use with concentrates such as wax, shatter, and oil. It is a small, handheld device that is powered by a rechargeable battery. The Torch is made up of two main components: the battery and the atomizer. The battery is the power source for the Yocan Torch. It is a rechargeable battery that can be charged using a USB cable. The battery has a capacity of 1100mAh, which is enough to provide several sessions of vaping before it needs to be recharged. The atomizer is the part of the Yocan Torch that heats up the concentrate and turns it into vapor. The atomizer is made up of a quartz dual coil (QDC) and a glass tube. The QDC is the heating element that heats up the concentrate, while the glass tube is where the vapor is produced. > > **How does the Yocan Torch work?** > To use the [Yocan](https://www.yocanvapeusa.com/) Torch, you first need to charge the battery. Once the battery is fully charged, you can attach the atomizer to the battery. To do this, simply screw the atomizer onto the battery until it is firmly in place. Next, you need to load your concentrate into the atomizer. To do this, remove the glass tube from the atomizer and place a small amount of concentrate onto the QDC. Be careful not to overload the atomizer, as this can cause it to clog and reduce its effectiveness. Once you have loaded your concentrate, replace the glass tube and turn on the Yocan Torch by pressing the power button five times in quick succession. The power button is located on the front of the battery and is marked with a Yocan logo. The Yocan Torch will begin to heat up the concentrate, and you will see vapor start to form inside the glass tube. To inhale the vapor, simply place your mouth over the mouthpiece at the top of the glass tube and inhale. > > **Conclusion** > The Yocan Torch is a convenient and portable e-nail that is perfect for vaping concentrates on the go. Its compact size and ease of use make it a popular choice among vaping enthusiasts. If you are looking for a reliable and efficient way to vaporize your favorite concentrates, then the Yocan Torch is definitely worth considering.

Assembly Bill A8132 has been assigned a "Same As" bill in the Senate: S8586 [NYSenate.gov] [A8132 - 2023] I don't own a gun, I never have and I don't plan to at any time in the future. But if these pass in the NYS Senate and Congress, it would be required to submit fingerprints for a background check then wait 15 days, before you could own any "COMPUTER OR COMPUTER-DRIVEN MACHINE OR DEVICE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT FROM A DIGITAL MODEL." This isn't even going to stop any crimes from happening, for pity sakes _regular_ guns end up in criminal charges all the time, regardless of background check laws. How about some _real change_ and _effective measures_, rather then virtue-signaling and theater illusion for a constituency?
I was introduced to the potential for ADHD as an adult, and now at 33 I have my official diagnosis! Severe ADHD / Innatentive Presentation I've never been relived to get a diagnosis of severe anything before, but I feel like I can finally feel sure about why I've struggled with these symptoms for so much of my life. Now I can start learning how to deal with and accommodate my symptoms, rather then trying to wrestle this many-limbed thing in the dark of ignorance.
If this is meant to be elsewhere, please let me know. I once read a story about a soldier who was in a horrific assault, who was then grafted into a large battle mech. As the story goes on, more flesh is taken until eventually only a spinal column and brain are left inside a gel-sack, and the machine has been upgraded to the point that it now has a super-punch that is powered by artillery shells in the shoulder. Some search engines showed alot of similar stories, but I can't find the right one. Anyone know this tale by title?
Right, so at a glance alot of the posts here are for FDM printing, and while I love my Ender 3 and have no problems with it (anymore...) I really want to get into resin printing. I have a 2 year old Elegoo Mars 2 Mono that I've used a handful of times, because each time I try to print a test model instead of something that looks like a chess piece, all I get is a circle of solid resin about the thickness of a US quarter. I'm kinda discouraged by this, since I know plenty of people get into resin printing and love the level of detail they can get on it. Yes, I know I can get similar details with FDM, and sometimes I do, but I want to expand my printing horizons as well. I've tried printing at different ambient temperatures, reslicing the model with different slicers, and warming the resin before use, but I can't seem to get more then a disk from my printer. Does anyone have some advice or insight into this issue?
I've been reading the Animorph books and had a realization. So many people commented on how the Croc hunter would touch animals, just pick up something that was venomous or plain dangerous, and act like it was not a big deal. Yes, he always cautioned respect for living things, and the general idea was to show that these beings should be treated with respect and a little awe but not feared or disgusted. Wouldn't that be the perfect cover for an Animorph who needed to collect all sorts of powerful forms? And acquiring the morph is supposed to tranquil the animal for a bit, which is occasionally commented on when Steve would handle an animal. Plus, Wouldn't someone who travels all over the world and is famous be in a great position to combat a global threat with these powers? Traveling from place to place, acquiring powerful animal forms, then using them in his mission like a specialist before moving on to the next?
