Appreciate it 😊. I'm quite happy with how the axe turned out on the zombie ogre, and the bases in general. The shoulder armor on Glaurio gave me a lot of trouble initially as I was just learning non-metalic metals. I still am learning NMM but I've certainly improved since.

  • Just finished all the armor and now on to cloth bits! I used greenish white, deep yellow and dark Prussian blue (ak) over a purple undercoat.

Pretty quick paintjob on her. The pose makes taking photos awkward.

    No worries. Happy to help.

I've heard good things about army painter but haven't played with them personally. I would just use what hobby paints you have. When you're starting out, it's important to learn what you like and dislike about a paint/range so you can be more informed when buying new stuff. E.g. thinning, sheen, seperation, mixes etc.

Highly pigmented paints are my favorite. Especially ones that thin down well without breaking up. Certain colors lend themselves better than others and speed paints are almost always great for this.

I tend to prime black unless I'm painting something mostly made of flame. I use cheap rattle can primer from the hardware store or monument hobbies primer through the airbrush. My choice of one over the other is mostly weather dependent. I don't notice any big difference though.

Anyway, feel free to ask whatever else. Cheers!

Mostly just brush. I sometimes give em a zenithal through the airbrush. I mostly use Vallejo and ak but that's just because they're the paints I bought when first starting out. I have been experimenting with golden so flat range and I like them pretty well.

My latest piece. I really struggled with all the rock, but I like how the bottom right turned out. I'm excited to do more glassy water.

You were all very kind about my camel and asked me to share some older stuff. I learned a lot with this piece and there are a lot of things I'd change if I went back but I still like how it came out.

This is my fifth charcoal drawing so far. I disliked the medium at first but I'm starting to enjoy it more and more 😄.

Found a used only model shop near my house recently and I couldn't leave without buying! So now my friend will get to add two Devilfish to their army.

I did this a while back but it's one of my favorite ones.
