Nowadays? Taurus isn't that bad. Their reputation, however, is not great due to their past with reliability issues and generally not great products. An older Taurus 1911 would've had a stiff trigger pull whereas a modern would would be inline with modern-ish standards (haven't gotten one in the shop in a while, if I had to guess it'd be about a 5lb trigger pull). New manufacture G3 and G3Cs have had close to no issues in terms of what customers have been saying.
Bottom line. Would I recommend a Taurus firearm in terms of sales, today? 50/50. It depends on the firearm.

I guess I'm going to self host. Better that than having to create yet another account on yet another instance just because it got defederated

Evince for me. I can print off pages from songbooks I have in e-book form. Evince don't care about no drm

Ubuntu Cinnamon is what'd I recommend more if you're starting out and want to play video games. Lutris dropped support for Linux Mint because both parties were a bit too stubborn on making the appropriate changes that would work for everyone (iirc, LM packaged drivers differently and Lutris wanted it a bit more standard to work efficiently. And immovable object had met an unstoppable force)

Fedora with AUR would be ideal for me. I've had too many random issues running Ubuntu and ubuntu-based OSs and while I like the simplicity of Debian, its too... little? for what I'm looking for. Arch and arch-based works great, but most are KDE and I would need to make a lot of changes out of the box before I can start using it (the default pdf viewer for KDE is nicer that Evince (the pdf viewer packaged with most gnome DEs) but I can't print off some pages in e-books whereas Evince allows that)
Fedora server be Ballin tho

Shower for watering plants, jet for cleaning, no nozzle if I'm going to be letting the water run across the irrigation I've set up for the trees

I hate cities because of the amount of idiots driving there. If it were harder to get a driver's license then I wouldn't mind at all

Apple's whole shtick is image. American express is viewed as a "premium" credit card company. So they'd rather go with a company (like Goldman Sachs) that gives off that "premium" vibe.
I've seen memes where people who own American express cards are, effectively, calling the other card brands (citi, capital one, chase) one of the poor's cards.
Simplified, Apple should just grit their teeth and go with a bank that will accept them, such as capital one or citi. However, they should do so on their terms (Apple gets whatever cash back options that they want but compromise on APR or some other variables).

Probably capital one. They have cards with khols (new, they're just moving people from khols to capital one), Walmart, bass pro/cabellas, BJs gas and the suite of Pottery Barn owners (pottery barn, Williams Sonoma, west elm, and one that is marketed as "the key rewards", which is the same as the prior 3 are also made for)

I've had this issue, I found it was related to my NIC and after a few minutes of downloading anything my network (on the computer, software side) would crash
I have an old ISP provided router and my wifi card is an Intel AX210 iirc.. Disabling AX on the router side (and forcing it to AC) is what fixed it for me.

It's almost as if reddit's first party app couldn't even compete with third party apps. I used Boost for Reddit and now I'm waiting for Boost for Lemmy Still trying to wrap my head around the cross-community, cross-server talk, but then again I'm drunk so I should just try again in the morning
