financial means, study permit

Hey everyone,

I will be applying for a visa for a two-year master's program in Sweden and had a question about proving financial means.

I'm aware of the requirement to show sufficient financial support for the visa application. However, I'm a bit unclear about how the Swedish Migration Agency assesses this for a two-year program.

Does anyone know if the Migration Agency typically assesses financial means for the entire two-year duration of the program, or is it initially for a shorter period with a possibility of extension?

Moreover, I'm trying to ensure that I have the correct understanding of the financial coverage needed. From what I've gathered, it should include tuition fees for the first (one year) two semesters and living expenses for the initial year, calculated at 10,314 SEK per month (recently updated).

Can anyone confirm if this aligns with the Migration Agency's requirements for a visa application related to a two-year master's program?

Any insights or experiences shared would be incredibly helpful! Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

Best regards,
