Check it out. I like the influence of Daoism on *Star Wars* and the Jedi religion. Also, they could've brought up the "Don Juan" influence of *Star Wars* and the Force. Good that the video touched on the New Age crap that inspired *Star Wars*, of course. Ugh, I hate New Age crap. But hey, it inspired George Lucas and gave us the Jedi so whatever. Also, I like how they brought up the scene with Qui-Gon Jinn and Yoda in *The Clone Wars* series.
I thought they could've done more with this video and they missed a lot besides. In fact, you could make a whole documentary of this, but it seems that this is the opening to a whole series so I'll be patient. What influences do you think they could've emphasized here? What else could they have said? I feel like there are a lot of things that could've been said here, but it's definitely not a right-wing video and is even a bit... left-wing? Idk. I liked how it didn't try to pander to right-wing chuds. I like that aspect of it, at least. Actually, on second thought: Watch this video and keep up with the series sometime. Cheers! ---- P.S.: What are your thoughts on what this series may be missing and what should be emphasized? For me, they could easily bring up the corporatist politics of the Separatists and the nationalist politics of them and the fact there are stuff revealed about the politics of the Old Republic in *The Clone Wars* CGI series.

this was a blast to watch, such a great matchup and cool to hear both Hayden and Diego talk about their relationship with the franchise
Not only did it take me back to the Star Wars in my head that existed before the prequels existed but it was the most sobering depiction of struggle that Star Wars has ever achieved on screen. The prison episodes were especially moving. What do yall think about the show?

Filoni baloney (No, but seriously, this is heart-warming)
It's live right now. Put this in the background and listen to it.
Thrawn, you are in my very soul... tormenting me.
Thrawn says hi.
I... actually liked the fourth episode (the recent racing episode) more than the initial two that took place on Dooku's planet of Serreno. The third episode with Crosshair is, of course, the best of season 2 so far (and probably the best of *The Bad Batch* serial so far). Also... Rampart's a dick.
I... actually enjoyed myself more than I probably should have because I did find the action rather well-paced and good, but if you're expecting "things to happen" then you'll be somewhat disappointed. It's more of a "Oh, btw, here's where we are" kind of episode. Although I will say that I was almost afraid that they'd pull something shitty like killing Tech off early, even though I should've known that they wouldn't get rid of him *that* easily. I do like Tech... But yeah, it was pretty standard. It reminded me of a lot of TCW episodes that were either great or pretty standard and this one was the latter in that regard. But I enjoyed it all the same. Your thoughts?
What did everyone think of the first two episodes of *The Bad Batch*?
I think they would indeed dare.
I liked Mandos better when they were just cool guys in armor. Like Boba and Jango, but then Lucasfilm became aware of their fan favorite status and put them at the forefront of everything. Literally everything new we learn about them makes them look lamer and lamer. They went from asshole crusaders with a vague honorable backdrop to space samurai that have nothing but agreeable politics. Less is more I feel.
