I am currently in the UAE and was looking for a solution to some things to do with setting my home and work on Apple Maps, but it seems that that part of the maps wasn't fully provided or something so I will not be able to set those. Searching for a solution let me to this on the place that shouldn't be named, but Joseph (u/KickNo5073/) said we can use his map. So I just hopped on over here and subscribed to share it over here. I hope it is okay sharing pictures from there as I didn't see any rules about it in this instance. Looks like a few new countries are coming in 2024. I was actually surprised because in the UAE we still have a few features not working yet.

This will be the 5th smallest expansion covering around 171,000 square kilometres and 16.5 million people Apparently, after this expansion, there will only be four countries which have been surveyed by Apple but have yet to be released including Japan, Thailand, Mexico, and the U.A.E.
What would you love to see in a future version of Apple Maps? For me it's got to be an option for always have the map be north-up when doing turn by turn directions.
For instance you can now rename your downloaded area and resize it after creating it. There are also new ‘Optimise Storage’ and ‘Update All’ buttons. At least I’m pretty sure they’re new. Frankly I didn’t use the feature too much in beta 2 so take this with a grain of salt
